Our Story
Our passion for jewellery and luxury goods, combined with our expertise in the Colombian marketplace, makes Colombian Flair a distinctive brand dedicated to offering luxurious pieces at competitive prices. Our mission is to bring the best of Colombia to the Aussie market. Each of our jewellery pieces features raw emeralds, which are left uncut and unpolished to preserve their natural beauty and add a unique flair to all our 'Fura' designs.
Our Emerald collection is called ‘Fura’ based on the ancestral legend of ‘Fura and Tena’
The god ‘Are’, feeling something was missing in his creation, fashioned a beautiful woman, ‘Fura’, and a man, Tena, from reeds. He blessed them with eternal happiness if they remained faithful. However, ‘Fura’ was seduced by the young ‘Zerbi’. As a result of her disobedience, she fell into deep sorrow. ‘Tena’, overwhelmed by grief, ended his own life, and ‘Fura’ mourned him intensely, with each of her tears turning into emeralds. ‘Are’ transformed ‘Fura and Tena’, turning them into mountains. This zone in Colombia has a very rich cultural history, with a vast native forest and an impressive diversity of wildlife.
